Partita delivers deep-pocket funk rooted in classic soul, jazz, and street-level groove. Built on tight arrangements and open-ended improvisation, the group blends crisp horn lines—trumpet, saxophone, and trombone—with a locked-in rhythm section of bass, drums, guitar, and keys. The result is a sound that’s raw, danceable, and steeped in feel.

The band’s members are seasoned professionals from across the Central Coast, with credits that include Brass Mash, The Great Divide – A Tribute to Phish, The New Analog, The Damon Castillo Band, and Hot Buttered Rum, as well as performances alongside legendary artists such as The Temptations and Tito Puente.
